The Boston Demons took on the Maine Cats in Round 1 of the New England AFL competition on the road in Portland, Maine.
It was a historic day for the Maine Cats in what was their first ever game in the USAFL.
While the result went in favor of the Demons the Cats showed plenty of spirit and promise, in what will definitely beginning of a long future in the competition.
The Demons were at their very best clearly showing the benefits of a full pre-season.
With more game time under their belts, the boys will now prepare for their upcoming metro game against Maine/Halifax on June 2nd.
